Terms & Conditions 

  1. Each membership shall be entitled to one entry into the raffle, and multiple memberships of the same name are permitted for supporters who wish to buy more than one. Membership of this draw will be limited to not more than 19999 members. The price of each ticket will be €100
  2. The main prize of the raffle is a 4 bedroomed, semi detached corner house with 3 bathrooms, 1 reception room, 1 kitchen/dining room and 1 utility room. The house is completed and fully furnished and fitted and is 135 square metres in size and is also completely landscaped. The address of the house is 75 Bregawn Cashel, Co Tipperary. It is situated in a new housing estate and has easy access to the Cork Dublin motorway.
  3. Further prizes and bonus prizes may be added during the period of the sales promotion up to and including the final draw date. Details will be added from time to time and all members who have purchased prior to any draw date will be included in each draw thereafter.
  4. The promoter of the draw is the County Committee of Tipperary GAA Board under the remit of its Management Committee (The Organizing Committee) Members of the Organizing Committee and the County Management Committee are excluded from entering the draw.
  5. The purpose of the Draw/Raffle is to raise monies for developing infrastructure facilities which will enable our players at adult and underage levels to compete to their full potential.
  6. The license to operate the draw was issued by Nenagh District Court on the 23rdJuly 2024. The license authorizes the said licensee (Murtagh Brennan Tipperary GAA) to promote periodical lotteries in accordance with section 28 of the said act during the period from the 24th July 2024 to the 23July 2025
  7. The draw will be held on the 17th of March 2025. The draw may be held on an earlier date at the discretion of the Organizing Committee. An extension of 30 days later than the above date may also be permitted without cause, but it is intended to have the winner drawn by April 2025 and have the property conveyed to the winner no later than May 2025.
  8. The organizing Committee have contracted with JFS Construction (The builder) to build the house to a complete finish and comprehensively furnished and landscaped.
  9. The winner accepts that, provided the contractor performs to his contracted obligations, he/she shall have no claims as to the terms of such contract and accepts that his/her rights are limited to those rights under the building contract, such right as will be assigned to the winner within 28 days of the draw date.
  10. The Organizing Committee or it agents or promoters shall not in any circumstances be liable for any loss due to any issues or delays in the construction of the house and the winner accepts that once nominated as provided for in 8 above, Tipperary GAA , its Organizing Committee or agents shall have no further or other responsibility or liability to the winner save for payment of the full purchase and building contract price.
  11. The obligations under the contract, including but not limited to the requirement of the owner (winner) to become a member of the management company of the estate and contribute his/her equitable share of the annual service charges fees, shall become the obligation of the winner on becoming the owner of the house.
  12. The property shall have an expected value of €350,000 when completed based on the current sale price for the houses of similar size on the estate. In the event of the winner not taking the house the cash alternative prize is €300,000.
  13. Conveyancing and registration of the property shall be arranged between the solicitor for the builder and a solicitor to be arranged for by and on behalf of the winner. The winner is responsible for his his/her own sides legal fees and any costs of registration of the property, including any stamp duty or other fees or charges.
  14. If the winner does not appoint a solicitor and take steps within 28 days of claiming the prize to effect the transfer of the legal title to the property to them and in any event enter a deed of transfer to so transfer the property within six months from the date of claiming the prize the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize and select a replacement winner.
  15. Membership is open to all persons over 18 years of age. Memberships are sold in Ireland, under Irish law and any regulations in place in Ireland and provided they are permitted to do so in their home jurisdiction, memberships can be bought from any location worldwide.
  16. Once purchased the lottery ticket is non-refundable except in circumstances where the lottery draw is cancelled by the Promoter In that event, a maximum amount of €90 per lottery ticket purchased will be refunded to the lottery ticket holder.
  17. Neither the Trustees of Tipperary GAA, The. Officers of Tipperary GAA, nor the members of the Organising Committee, shall be liable in any way to any member/ purchaser for any loss suffered in connection with this draw.
  18. No responsibility can be accepted for entries and payments not received for whatever reason. Purchasers shall receive a confirmation of purchase and a 5-digit ticket number within 24 hours of purchasing their membership and inclusion in the draw. Should any error occur in the processing of payment subsequent to the issuing of the ticket number, the purchaser shall be contacted by email to advise if the transaction has been voided.
  19. The winner shall be contacted by the means of communication they have provided, and their identity will be verified within 14 days of the draw date. Their identity and location (town, county, country) as appropriate shall be publicised on the draw date. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and images that may be taken in the prize given hand-over and in any publicity material. Any personal data relating to the winner, or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with GDPR and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrants’ prior consent.
  20. If the winner cannot be contacted via one of the communications provided or does not claim their prize within 14 days of the notification of same the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and select a replacement winner.
  21. Tipperary GAA, The Organising Committee and its agents reserve the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of any unforeseen circumstances or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the Organisers control.
  22. Any changes to the rules of the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by or its agent or promoters.
  23. The operation of the draw and the conduct of the selection of the winning ticket on the draw date shall be independently observed and scrutinised by an independent audit firm. The draw will be held in public and members who have purchased a ticket shall be welcome to attend and observe the draw live, it is also intended that the draw will be streamed live.
  24. By purchasing an entry, the entrant is confirming his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
